We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Supply Chain Manager.

The role

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity. In addition, the Supply Chain Manager is expected to balance cost management with quality and efficiency, ensuring that procurement processes support the organization's overall objectives while maintaining compliance and managing risks.

Key accountabilities

A supply chain manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that the procurement and storage processes contribute to the overall efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of the supply chain.

Supply Chain Strategy:
- Creating and implementing supply chain strategies that align with the company’s overall business goals.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices.
- Working closely with other departments such as production, sales, and finance to ensure smooth supply chain operations. External Partners: Coordinating with external logistics providers, third-party warehousing, and other partners. Implementing and managing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for better supply chain integration. Automation: Exploring and adopting automation technologies to enhance efficiency in procurement and storage.

Supplier Selection and Management:  
- Researching and identifying potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
- Negotiating contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term cooperation and reliability.
- Regularly assessing supplier performance and addressing issues related to quality, delivery, and service.

Procurement Planning:
- Collaborating with other departments to predict future material and product needs. Developing and managing the procurement budget. Purchase Orders: Creating and processing purchase orders in a timely and efficient manner.

Skills & ecperience

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management or logistics, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
